Kombucha may be relatively new to the Calgary scene, but the ladies behind Wild Tea Kombucha are trusting that the health drink alterative is more than a fad. Emily Baadsvik and Brigette Freel have been working together since 2015 to perfect their Wild Tea Kombucha blends. In just those few short years, the brand can now be found in over 50 locations across Western Canada including big grocers like Sobeys and Save-on-Foods as well as niche and independent retailers and restaurants.

The coffee shop is the community hub that is always on-the-go, filled with laptop workers, moms and strollers, friends catching up, and meetings outside of the office. With a revolving door of patrons coming and going, the coffee shop keeps its buzz going long after the caffeine has been served. Living in a social media world has opened up my life into some great relationships and experiences. A couple of cool opportunities have come my way that I will be taking part in this October. Squee!
First up is the Next Big Thing, a âconference-like experience for creative people.â My lovely friends Kait Kucy and Mike Morrison have put together this one-day event for the innovative and imaginative folks out there that need a little help and View this Post

Donât you wish you could just float away from all the distractions and stresses in life? You can do just that at the beautiful Clear Float Spa in Mission. Iâm always game to try out new experiences, but I have to admit that the idea of floating seemed a little out of my comfort zone.
Floating science has been around since the 1950âs but float spas have only recently hit the mainstream here in Calgary in the last couple of years. Â I decided to give it a go mainly as way to get View this Post

I’m in the middle of reading Sheryl Sandberg’s corporate gamechanger, “Lean In” about women, work, and leadership. I’m only in the early chapters so once I’m done I will try to circle back with some thoughts about the book. Sheryl is known as a leading activist for gender equality in the workforce. As a young professional navigating the corporate ladder myself, I’m always keen to find female inspiration to help guide my way. I’ve been View this Post
