HBC Collection X Herschel Supply = <3

Herschel Supply HBC

Herschel Supply and HBC Collection join forces on bag collaboration

Swoon! Herschel Supply and Hudson’s Bay Company HBC Collection have come together on a limited edition collection of travel essentials. These are two of my favourite Canadian companies – their partnership for the Spring 2016 season has created an amazing line of casual packs and bags.  Herschel style mixed with The Bay’s signature colored stripes, these bags bring Canadiana cool to the next level. I’m so in love.

The 5-piece collection includes:

  • Herschel Heritage backpack
  • Little America backpack
  • Chapter travel kit
  • Novel weekend duffle
  • A scaled-down rendition of the Heritage

Finding casual and chic at ECCO Shoes

Danish retailer ECCO Shoes has been around since the 1970’s but the Scandinavian brand has only set up standalone stores in Canada since the late ‘90s. With a growing push in Western Canada, ECCO is looking to boost its presence with Calgarians with their new showcase location in Chinook Centre. My boyfriend has been a big fan of their men’s shoes for along time so I decided to take some time to explore what the women’s collections had to offer.

Just a few of the t-shirts available from Local Laundry apparel.

I love things that depict my beloved hometown of Calgary because it embodies home and heritage for me (have you seen my gallery wall?). Being able to wear that love on your sleeve is even better and Calgarians can now do that with the fun and casual t-shirt styles at Local Laundry. I discovered these fab tees online and enjoy the yyc spirit they signify. Many of the shirts show off some of Calgary’s most popular neighborhoods and are a great way to show off some local View this Post

Surviving a Vancouver rainfall with Canada Goose

Canada Goose Timber Shell front Canada Goose Timber Shell back

Canada Goose is known as the premier winter brand for their ultra-warm and fashionable parkas and coats. But did you know that they make spring jackets as well? I sure didn’t until I got my Canada Goose Timber technical shell jacket (in the brilliant pink Torch in case you were wondering). It’s a super stylish coat. The cuffs are tapered and it has a longer back for cover. The zippers and seams are all waterproof with ventilation on the sides for when things get too humid. The hood on a jacket usually doesn’t fit me very well, but this one View this Post
