It isn’t often that a world premiere comes to town but Theatre Calgary has brought to life the wondrous joy of The Little Prince. The musical is a joint production with London’s Lamplighter Drama and runs until February 28. Contest: Tickets to ATP’s Legend Has It

Celebrating Alberta’s heritage at Cabela’s Calgary

There are some big changes coming to Deerfoot Mall starting with the introduction of Cabela’s, an outfitter known for its fishing and hunting expertise. The 70,000-square-foot retail space houses everything from sleeping bags to fishing rods to industrial grade meat grinders. If it has anything to do with the outdoors, Cabela’s will have you covered. Illuminasia lights up the Calgary Zoo

Magnificent rhinos are just one of the highlights at the Illuminasia Lantern & Garden Festival at the Calgary Zoo.

When I first heard about a Chinese lantern festival coming to the Calgary Zoo, I imagined a string of paper lights hanging around the buildings lit up in decorative colors. Simple and pretty right?
