The Calgary Zoo’s annual winter tradition is in full swing! ZOOLIGHTS is now on until January 6, 2018 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The lights festival is bigger and better with more lights than ever before. In fact, the Zoo ran out of lights twice during the setup of the all the displays (thank goodness for Canadian Tire lol). What do you do if you have a love for chocolate and getting crafty? Make a bunch of the sweet treats at Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut of course! For #LoveYYC day, Tourism Calgary sent my sister, niece and I to the Cococo Chocolatiers-owned shop for a day of chocolate making fun.

I love going to restaurants that like to shake things up every now and again. While there is comfort in picking the same foods you already know and enjoy, I appreciate trying new flavours, dishes and seasonal ingredients when I’m eating out. Just in time for fall, NOtaBLE has put together refreshed menu items for brunch, lunch and dinner.
